Residential or Commercial
Design:
Tom designs each piece with your specific need in mind, using your choice of wood and/or paint color.
Fabrication:
Tom's shop is located on his residence premises in Chapel Hill, NC; all cabinetry is built on site.
Finish:
The finish on all cabinetry is done to customers preference:
- Natural wood finishes
- Stained with a clear coat finish
- Painted (color of your choice)
Installation:
Your new furnishings are completely installed, whether it be a built-in or free standing piece.
Contract:
All customers are presented with a written proposal which gives a clear description. A detailed drawing of your project is supplied upon receipt of your deposit.
Tom designs and constructs each individual custom-made piece for your home using his superb knowledge of the materials and techniques of his trade. Every piece is finished with either a natural wood finish, that is stained with clear coat to celebrate the wood grain, or painted in your choice of color in his Chapel Hill shop. Our work is exemplary. We promise. And behind that promise, we want you to know that we back our work with a satisfaction guarantee.
Materials
Each piece is designed according to your wishes, with your furniture and surroundings in mind. We work around fireplaces, stairways, and windows in big and small settings.
Types of wood:
Tom can work with all woods and is partial to cherry, walnut, birch, oaks (white and red), maple, sapele, hickory, and pine.
Materials:
All of our cabinetry is constructed from cabinet-grade veneered plywood with hardwood face frames and doors.
Hardware:
All door knobs and drawer pulls are the customer’s choice. Tom selects the appropriate and/or necessary drawer slides, roller slides, and door hinges (typical concealed hinges).
